Krista Libertino is a versatile vocalist and voice teacher. She has over 25 years experience singing everything from Gregorian chant to the music of smash hit musicals like "Les Misérables" to covering the iconic works of singers like Ella Fitzgerald, Dolly Parton and  Lady Gaga. 

Whether jamming out to the ”Hamilton” soundtrack, while cleaning her house, performing in her acoustic duo project with master guitar player Dan Stevens or teaching one of her students, singing is the life force that keeps her day going.

She studied music education at the College of Saint Rose and vocal performance at Dutchess Community College. She is a student of Dr. Elizabeth Gerbi and former student of Nancy Aurffarth. In addition she is part of a teaching group by lead by John Henny and is certified in contemporary voice teaching and vocal science.

 Passionate about learning, and continuing her education she studied and was certified in Early Childhood Music education and has attended  various masterclasses working with well know voice teachers (John Henny) and many Broadway performers including: Lindsey Mendez (Wicked), Denise Summerford (Rocky Horror Picture Show), Shari Sanders (Rock the Audition), Dorene Mantalvo (In the Heights) and Gregory Treco (Hamilton).


She teaches private voice lessons through her personal studio in person in Stormville NY And virtually. As well as at  The Academy of Music at Dutchess Community College, where she also teaches group singing classes and early childhood music and movement classes.  She is the Music Director in residence at Pied Piper Youth Theater and also teaches “Sip and Sing” classes (wine-infused group singing classes for adults 21 years  and up). 

 A true musical theater lover, she is an active member in the Hudson Valley community theater scene,  recently performing as Cinderella’s Stepmother in “Into the Woods”. She also enjoys spending time with her kids, cooking and learning new things.
